CLICK PLAYER TO LISTEN TO SOME MUSIC.... Granados: Goyescas, Fandango; Neil Galanter, pianist
Welcome to the Official Website for Neil Galanter.
I was trained as a classical concert pianist, but I am extremely interested in cross over and interdisciplinary artistic, linguistic & musical genres, collaborations and milieus. I consider myself first & foremost: a musician and composer who embraces all forms of music. There is good & bad music in every style and genre, and of course I seek the good in all styles.
Now in the third decade of this 21st century, it is ever more increasingly important that we bridge the gaps between the wide, varied and many beautiful types of music present today.
There are many exciting possibilities between all worlds of music (and other artistic worlds for that matter!) that can create dynamic symbioses in our varied musical communities. I am keen on finding them, strengthening them and moving them forward in true concert and harmony!
